Can Use In Art Class
If you have any of these items please consider donating them to help add to your student’s art education experience……Thank you!
House Paint – Acrylic or Latex, don’t throw those partial gallons away, we can use
them, any colors
Cardboard rolls - from toilet rolls and paper towels
Ribbon – any size, any color
Yarn – any amount, any color
Chenille Stems or Pipe Cleaners - any size, color or amount
Leather - pieces of any shape color or size
Styrofoam – prefer the harder materials
Buttons – any and all
Wire from telephone chords - you bring them, we'll strip them, we use the colored wires
for different projects.
CD's and DVD's - any shape, scratched or unscratched, we can use them for projects,
Coffee filters
Construction paper and Poster board
Rubber Gloves
White glue
Crayons – yes please bring us your broken ones!
Glitter – all colors and any amounts, full containers or partial
Plaster of Paris – all we can get
Craft Sticks – both popsicle and tongue depressors
Small rubber animals and toys -i.e. cars, motorcycles, farm animals, zoo animals, horses,
etc, students can set these on their tables to draw and then add scenes around
them.
Seeds and seed pods of any number and kind.
Masking tape ¾” and ½”
Paint Brushes any size
Duct Tape – any colors any amounts, even partial rolls
Clothes Pins – the spring loaded kind, wood preferred
String – all colors, sizes and amounts
Pencils – any amount, any lead grade
Any pretty much anything else that we can use to create some unique art pieces, as artists, your student will learn that art can be made from just about anything!
